Federal Policy Forum on Inclusion


Today CACL and People First of Canada are hosting a Federal Policy Forum on Inclusion in the nations capitol - Ottawa

Participants of this forum will have the opportunity to:

  •     Learn and dialogue about federal employment related policy and programming in relation to youth with disabilities
  •     Learn about current positive practices and strategic community partnerships currently making an impact
  •     Engage in dialogue with individuals, families, community leaders and policy makers from throughout the country.

The keynote presentation will be by: Mark Wafer and Clint Sparling Mark Wafer owns several Tim Hortons restaurants throughout the Toronto area, is an employer of more than 80 people with disabilities and an advocate for employment of persons with disabilities. Clint Sparling is one of the first people with a disability that Mark hired and he has now been with the company for 17 years.
