Michener Center to close, a return to community.

 

Monday, March 11, 2013 – At a press conference earlier today, the Alberta government announced the imminent closure of Michener Centre. Michener is a residential facility for people with developmental disabilities located in Red Deer, Alberta. It is an announcement long awaited and very much applauded by CACL. The closure of Michener will enable the remaining 125 residents to return to community.
