Our Vision

All children with intellectual disabilities have their rights guaranteed and respected, and have the supports they need to live, grow, and thrive in their families and communities.

Benchmarks for Achievement

• The rights secured in the UN Convention on the Rights of Children are realized for children with disabilities on an equal basis with others.
• Children with intellectual disabilities have access to available early learning and childcare options.
• Children and youth with disabilities have access to age-appropriate, recreation and leisure activities available in communities.
• Children with intellectual disabilities are not over-represented in the child welfare system.
