Inclusion International is an assembly of the voices of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families that promotes shared values of respect, diversity, human rights, solidarity and inclusion. It represents over 115 member federations in 200 countries, is one of the largest international disability non-governmental organizations and is 1 of 5 disability-related organizations to be officially recognized by the United Nations.
Inclusion International's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) mirror those of the United Nations to link efforts and achieve results for people with intellectual disabilities and their families. The Inclusion International's MDGs provide an agenda for inclusive policy and programming to achieve the following objectives:
